Synopsis
Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind is an ensemble experiment in presenting “30 Plays in 60 Minutes.” Each short play will be performed in random order with an interactive audience. An onstage 60-minute timer keeps everyone honest.
The cast will be allowed to pick and direct plays for the show. This will be a collaborative experience, with directors acting among the ensemble and all of us brainstorming and coming up with creative solutions together.
This show will change every night, depending on which plays are called when, and requires a flexible and giving cast of performers.
Rehearsals
Will begin mid-March. While we are planning for rehearsals to be held Monday-Thursday evenings, we will discuss schedules with potential cast members and shift things slightly if needed.
Tech week
Tech will be April 28th-May 1st. Actors may not be called the 28th, but will be called the 29th through the 1st.
